This food processing and logistics centre is a modern 19,739 mยฒ temperature-controlled facility, designed and built specifically to meet the operational requirements of the client and to meet all regional regulatory requirements and environmental standards.
The development includes a food processing unit, dry storage rooms, 2,500 mยฒ offices, a supplementary freezer, vehicle washing, and other facilities.
For the project, Zip-Clip MENA Sales Manager Jari Varghese, supported by our Technical Team, worked closely with the contractors to design a building services suspension solution to fully meet site requirements.
Zip-Clip wire rope solutions were specified for the project for the suspension of building services including electrical containment runs. The solutions were specifically chosen due to their ease and speed of installation, flexibility, and reduced materials content.
The reduced number of components required for the installation of Zip-Clip solutions, when compared to solutions based on threaded rod, and particularly for the required longer drop lengths, provided considerable time savings and reduced labour costs.
