Zip-Clip have further strengthened their partnership with Cabstrut following a three-week training and collaboration tour across South Africa led by Nicolette Conradie, International Business Development Director.
The visit saw Nicolette interacting with nine Cabstrut branches, delivering hands-on product training, installation best practice, and sales support while also preparing teams for upcoming product launches. The objective was to ensure both businesses are aligned for 2026 and beyond, with a consistent global approach to how Zip-Clip systems are specified, sold and installed.

Rather than hosting a single central event, the tour was structured around branch-by-branch visits, allowing training to be tailored to each team’s experience, customer base and local market conditions. Sessions covered technical product knowledge, application guidance and live project discussions, giving teams the opportunity to ask detailed questions and work through real scenarios.
Over the three weeks, a clear increase in confidence and consistency was seen across the network. Teams became more comfortable recommending the correct solutions for complex applications and explaining the performance and value of Zip-Clip systems to their customers.
The tour was also an opportunity for genuine two-way collaboration. Cabstrut teams shared valuable insight into the South African market, customer expectations and on-the-ground challenges, while Zip-Clip provided technical expertise and global best practice. These conversations helped identify opportunities for improved support, future training and product development.
For Cabstrut customers, the benefits will be felt long after the visit. Better-trained branch teams mean more accurate product recommendations, improved technical advice and smoother project delivery, helping installers and contractors get the best possible results on site.

Commenting on the visit, Nicolette said the highlight was seeing teams grow in confidence and capability. “Spending time with each branch, sharing knowledge and working through real applications has created a strong foundation for the future. It was a great example of what’s possible when two businesses work closely together.”
The South Africa tour reinforces Zip-Clip’s commitment to investing in its international partnerships and supporting distributors with the training, tools and expertise they need to succeed.
