ZIP-CLIP HONOURED WITH QUEEN’S AWARD FOR ENTERPRISE: INTERNATIONAL TRADE

 

In 2019 Zip-Clip was proudly recognised for its excellence in International Trade and today our leading range of highly innovative solutions is sold by distribution partners all around the globe.

 

Zip-Clip Ltd was one of 201 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise. Announced on Tuesday 23rd April 2019, Zip-Clip Ltd was recognised for its excellence in International Trade.

 

Zip-Clip manufactures wire suspension systems for a wide variety of applications including electrical, mechanical, heating, ventilation, signage, and seismic industries at its premises in Welshpool, Powys. The company was founded by Matthew Clay-Michael and Steven Goldsworthy in 2004 and now exports its products to over 30 countries including Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, and throughout Europe. In 2011 the company established Zip-Clip in France and in 2018 Zip-Clip Australia was established to further develop and support its export market.

 

On receiving the award, Steve Goldsworthy Joint CEO said “It is an honor to receive such a prestigious award as the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade”.

 

Matthew Clay-Michael Joint CEO added, “The award is for all our staff and highlights the hard work and dedication throughout the years”.

 

Zip-Clip Ltd. celebrated its award during a royal reception for Awards winners held in June 2019 and was presented with the award itself by the Lord Lieutenant for Powys in September.

 

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, now known as the King’s Awards, are the UK’s most prestigious business awards and are presented each year for outstanding achievement by UK businesses in innovation, international trade, and sustainable development.
