Zip-Clip is proud to announce the appointment of Holly Taylor as Group Operations Director – a role that recognises her exceptional dedication, leadership, and impact over almost 15 years with the company.
Holly’s journey with Zip-Clip began on 31 January 2011 when she joined as a French-Speaking Office Administrator. On her very first day, she dove straight into product training, signalling the start of what would become a career marked by adaptability, determination, and a commitment to excellence.
“After spending my post-university years in retail, I was looking for a career with long-term growth. A job advert for Zip-Clip caught my attention and after researching the company, I felt a real connection with its values and direction. I wanted a place where I could grow, develop, and build something meaningful.”
From her early involvement in setting up Zip-Clip’s French entity from the ground up, Holly’s talents quickly became apparent. She went on to hold a variety of roles, including PA to the CEO, Export Sales and Marketing, and European Support Manager, before stepping into General Manager and now Group Operations Director.
Reflecting on her progression, Holly notes that while sales gave her valuable global experience, it was operations where she truly thrived – leading strategic projects such as establishing Zip-Clip’s Customs Warehouse and Inward Processing Facility.
“It came with its fair share of challenges, but it was incredibly rewarding. It was a complex, high-impact initiative, and I’m proud to have played a central role in making it happen.”
A Company Built on Innovation and Integrity
Founded in Welshpool, Powys, Zip-Clip has grown from a local business into a global leader in high-specification wire suspension systems, with operations spanning the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, China, and beyond. Throughout this growth, the company has remained committed to its core values of quality, integrity, and collaboration – principles that Holly has embodied throughout her career.
“The company has evolved tremendously – growing in size, expanding our global reach, and investing in innovation but what hasn’t changed is our team spirit and passion. The same drive that was there on day one is still here today.”
A Proud Milestone
For Holly, being appointed Director was a deeply personal moment.
“It was incredibly humbling and emotional – a real moment of pride. It felt like a reflection not only of what I’ve achieved, but also of the trust the company has in me for the future.”
In her new role, she is most excited to help shape the company’s strategic direction as it continues to expand into new markets and explore fresh opportunities.
“Professionally, it’s an opportunity to influence and shape the future of Zip-Clip. Personally, it’s a moment of validation and growth – about stepping up, leading by example, and giving back to a business that’s given me so much.”
Looking Ahead
When asked where she sees Zip-Clip in the years to come, Holly is clear:
“I see us continuing to innovate, expand globally, and lead the way in our market. I want to be right at the heart of that – helping drive progress, supporting our teams, and ensuring we stay true to the values that have always set us apart.”
And her advice for those just starting out?
“Be curious, ask questions, and never stop learning. Trust yourself more – you know more than you think you do. And enjoy the ride, the years fly by faster than you expect.”
