During this project, located on the i54 Industrial Estate near Wolverhampton, Zip-Clip Technical Manager James Horton supported Shropshire Cooling Services with the design and realisation of a turnkey solution for the suspension of services containment. Morris Properties were the principal contractor and all Zip-Clip products were supplied through distributor Edmundson Electrical, Shrewsbury.
Requiring an efficient and uniform solution for office services containment over two floors, a design and take-off was provided by Zip-Clip utilising the Y-It system and CLA1 anchor throughout.
Due to the varying widths of containment basket required, Zip-Clip utilised the flexibility of the Y-It system in order to accommodate all dimensions with one product. The Y-It solution is available from 1 metre to 10 metre lengths, factory-manufactured under strict quality control procedures ready for installation with no further site assembly being required. This not only assures quality but also simplifies installation reducing time-onsite considerably.
The ready-to-install solution was delivered to site in just 2 boxes ensuring not only saving on transportation costs but affording easy handling on site.
Following a time-efficient and safe installation, anchor load and compliance testing was undertaken by Zip-Clip and the finished project was given approval and signed-off.
