Fosse Park, Leicester
This project was part of a Β£168 million extension to theΒ Fosse Park shopping centre, located just outside Leicester.Β An upmarket 90,000 sq ft mega-store was developed for theΒ Frasers Group, the store being purpose-built to accommodate aΒ number of their Group brands including Sports Direct, Flannels,Β USC, Evans Cycles and GAME.
Zip-Clip Technical Sales Manager Steve Burgess, supported by our Technical Team, worked closely with Gloucester-based Contractor Whitebox Electrical to design required electrical containment suspension solutions for the project, optimising materials/components usage to ensure installation efficiency and on-time completion of all works undertaken whilst fulfilling operational and environmental requirements.
A range of Zip-Clip products was specified for the suspension of building services including electrical containment runs, HVAC ductwork, and lighting. These included the Rize, Strut-Lock,Β Knock-It, and Thread-It systems. Custom-made, project-specific systems were also designed and supplied to meet exacting project and client requirements.
This installation again showcased the versatility of Zip-Clip solutions and Steve Burgess commented that this was one of the best installs that he had seen and complimented James McAvoy, Operations Director at Whitebox, and the team for an exceptional job. As can be seen in the accompanying images the end result is a credit to all involved.
